Colours of the rainbow – now azo-free

Four new food grade colours are now in our palette, black, purple, pink and orange. All colours are free of azo, neutral in taste and are stable during baking and for exposure to light. With the new additions, we can now offer nine different colours which can be used for baked and unbacked products.

The R&D Team has through extensive work developed azo-free alternatives for the whole range of colours and flavours. Furthermore, most of the Aromatic colours now contain natural colouring. We know the consumer pays significant attention to what our food contains, and the choice of ingredients is therefore always carefully considered in all product developments. It has been a challenge to develop a good range of azo-free colours, but we are now satisfied with the result and pleased to introduce it on the market.
